He was told it was impossible, he took 22 years, a hammer and a chisel to prove them wrong



he lived in a small town              very close to another small town






where  good school, good jobs, better health care facilities were accesable.














but the problem was this mountain


And even though it's less than a mile between your town and the neighboring town, you gotta walk 45 miles to get around the mountain. So most people just try and go over. It's painful. And dangerous.







this is what is needed ( a bunch of contractors with backhoes,explosive, huge drillers) and in weeks the job will be done



but who has a million dollars to spare




since there where very poor set of people






He sumed up the courage as a man.


picking up his hammer and chisel he embarked on a journey for 22 years to prove them wrong




Any one passing by will stop for a minute to wonder "is he or drugs or somthing"





but finally




Dashrath Manjhi didn't live that long, but his elderly friends who are old and sick as well, haven't given up trying to make his vision of a better life for his community come true.






no one ever asked him to emabark on such a journey but he did it out of love for education knowing its importance
