A 20 year old Texas man, josten bundy, jumbled into a quickly arranged marriage after a Texas judge told him last month he had a choice of marrying his girlfriend or spending 15 days in jail for an assault charge.
According to court document obtained on Friday. Smith county judge Randall rogers gave the option to bundy who was arrested in march on a charge of assault causing bodily injury. Bundy had gotten into a fight with his girlfriends ex boyfriend.
The judge said that bundy will be place on probation if he marries his 19 year old girl friend, Elizabeth Jaynes, withing 30 days and if he declines he would go to jail according to a transcript of the proceedings obtained by Tyler television broadcaster kltv.
Roger asked bundy "is she worth it ?" According to the transcript.
The brides father kenneth jaynes however told reporters that he wasn't happy that the judge pressured the pair into marriage and was looking into whether this was a judicial misconduct.

The judge was not available for any comment concerning the matter
The couple, who were happy they finally tied the Knott however were unappreciative of the fact that the judge forced them.
"It just felt like we weren't going to be able to have the wedding we wanted" the bride told reporters.
